- "These stones are in an old cemetery in the edge of the woods almost in a direct line behind the buildings on the Blind Brook Farm owned by Dr. Gaul on the Baldwin Road in Ticonderoga, N.Y."
LYDIA MOSES, / died Sept. 13, 1828 / Æ 54 yrs.
(NOTE: This stone is broken and the epitaph gone.)

Tho in the dust I lay my head

The stones listed blow are in an old cemetery in the edge of a wood on the right hand side of a log road almost in line with the buildings at Homelands, the old French place on the Baldwin Road in Toconderoga, N.Y.
ISAAC MORSE / died Feb. 21, / 1840 / Aged 80 years. /
Who was a soldier in the revolutionary
War, a Justice of the peace for many years
in Ticonderoga, and the first American
Citizin who owned this farm.
ELIZA MORSE / died 1824 / in the 63, / year of her / age. /
Behold and see as you pass by

(NOTE: wife of Isaac Morse. The stone does not say so but that section is broken off and as the grave is directly beside the grave of Isaac, it seems safe to assume that Eliza was his wife.)
Beside the grave of Eliza Morse is another grave from which the headstone has disappeared. Only a footstone with the initials A M. mark it.

Taken from the August 2, 1894 issue of the Ticonderoga Sentinel. These are the same stones listed in the cemetery records but there are some variations and since this copy puclished by the Sentinal was made some 60 years ago, the chances are that they are correct as the stones would have been much clearer then.
Is aac Morse - Died - Feb. 21, 1840 - age 80 yrs. - A soldier of the Revolutionary War - a justice of the peace for many years in Ticonderoga.
In memory of Elizabeth - consort of Isaac Morse, Esq. who died Sept. 17th, 1824 in the 63rd year of her age.
In memory of Allice Morse - died Feb. 23, 1825, Æ 28 yrs.
In memory of Lymon B. Morse, died June 8, 1826 in the 23rd year of his age.
In memory of Zadock P. Morse - who died Jan. 30, 1829, aged 38 years & 7 mos.
