Williams Grave

Franklin, Franklin County, New York
DIRECTIONS: This single grave is located on the Thatcherville Road. From Route 3, turn toward Loon Lake on the County Route 99. Pass the Merrillsville Cemetery (on your left) and continue until you see a road to the left. Bear left for .4 miles where you will cross a bridge where there is a spring on the left. Continue to the right 2.4 miles beyond the spring. The grave marker is on the right side of the road, between the river and the road. It is not visible from the road, but if you look carefully, you can see the remains of an old logging road leading down toward the grave. If you reach a Y in the road with a closed bridge at the right, you have gone too far.
